报告内容简介:

  Cryptography develops algorithms and tools for achieving privacy, integrity and authenticity of information. The security of any public-key cryptosystem must rely on computational assumptions such as two hard Mathematical problems: the Integer Factorization (IF) and Discrete Logarithm (DL) problems. In 1994, Peter Shor showed that both IF and DL problems are in fact easy to solve on a quantum computer, based crucially on the laws of quantum physics. As a consequence, almost all currently deployed public-key cryptosystems will become completely insecure if quantum computers become a practical reality. Post-quantum cryptography refers to conventional cryptosystems that are secure against both quantum and classic attacks, and can interoperate with existing communication protocols and networks. In this talk, we will take an insight look into this topic.

 

报告人简介:

  邢朝平,教授,新加坡南洋理工大学数学系副主任,1990年获中国科技大学博士学位,论文题目为《代数几何码的研究》。曾荣获新加坡国家科学奖(2003年),曾任和现任多个国际SCI期刊编委,如《IEEE Transactions on Information Theory》, Finite Fields and Their Applications》, Science China-Mathematics》。已发表学术论文150余篇,专著及教材4本。
